π§Ύ In a few words
Separate your playlist into Side A and Side B and list the songs in the correct order. If you're submitting files directly, name them clearly (e.g., A1, A2, B1...). If you're sending a playlist link, organize it in the right sequence.
π Details
π§ If you're sending files (MP3/WAV):
- Name each file like this:
A1_SongName.mp3
,A2_SongName.mp3
, etc.B1_SongName.mp3
,B2_SongName.mp3
, etc.
- Each song should match the order you want them played on the record
- Upload files directly in the form we send you after purchase
π If you're sending a playlist link (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.):
- Create two separate playlists, one for each side
- Example: βMixtape - Side Aβ and βMixtape - Side Bβ
- The order of songs in each playlist will define the order on the vinyl
- Make sure each side stays within the time limit for your record size
πΌοΈ If you're adding the playlist to your artwork (back cover or labels):
- Double-check that the order written on the artwork matches the order of the uploaded files or playlist
- If thereβs a mismatch, we will prioritize the order shown on the artwork
- This ensures the printed tracklist matches what the listener hears when playing the record
- It also avoids confusion for the recipient or gift recipient
π Recommended time limits:
- 7" vinyl: 5 minutes per side
- 10" vinyl: 12 minutes per side
- 12" vinyl: 20 minutes per side
π If you go over the suggested limit, we may need to cut or remove songs β or pause your order and contact you for confirmation, which will delay the process.
