You can customize your Musical Gift Card in just 2 minutes using Canva. Add your own message, include a song (link or QR), and either send it digitally or print it beautifully at home.
✍️ Step-by-Step: How to Edit It in Canva
- Click on “Use this template” in your email. It will open directly in Canva.
- Edit the text by double-clicking any field (name, message, link, signature).
- Add your song:
- Paste a Spotify, YouTube, or Apple Music link, OR
- Insert a QR code that opens the song (you can use any free QR code generator - we recommend https://spotifycodes.com).
- Customize the design:
- Change colors or fonts (optional).
- You can replace the right-side photo with your own by clicking “Replace Image”.
- Don’t forget your name or nickname in the signature line!
🖨️ How to Print It Correctly
Step 1 – Prepare your card for printing
This card was designed for A6 paper (148 × 105 mm / 5.8 × 4.1 in).
✅ Do not print on A4 unless you resize it manually or adjust printer settings.
- Click Share → Download
- Choose PDF Print for best quality.
- Select the page of your card (usually Page 4 or 6)
- Enable: "Crop marks and bleed"
- Click Download
🏡 Step 2 – Print at home or a local print shop
🖨 If printing at home:
- Set paper size to A6 in your printer settings.
- Set scale to 100% or actual size (no scaling).
📄 If using A4 paper (not recommended but possible):
- Choose “2 pages per sheet” to print two A6 cards on one A4.
- Cut along the crop marks manually.
💡 Pro Tips
- Want to keep it digital? You can also download it as PNG or JPG and send it via WhatsApp, email, or social media.
- If something moves by accident in Canva, use Ctrl+Z to undo.
- Confused by layers? Use “Position → Layers” in Canva to select exactly what you want.
