π§Ύ In a few words
If your playlist exceeds the suggested duration per side, weβll need to pause your order and contact you β which may delay production. Thatβs why we encourage you to check your timing carefully before submitting.
π Details
Our recommended limits for best sound and smooth processing are:
- 7-inch: 5 minutes per side
- 10-inch: 12 minutes per side
- 12-inch: 20 minutes per side
π§ These limits ensure the best sound quality, higher volume, and a clean, clear cut.
β What happens if you go over the recommended time?
- Weβll pause your order and send you a message
- We wait for your response to confirm changes
- We apply the edits, and follow up to confirm everything is correct
β³ This process can delay your order, especially if we donβt hear from you promptly.
π¬ Our goal is to make your experience smooth, without unnecessary back-and-forth β and staying within the suggested times helps a lot.
β Can I go slightly over?
Yes β but only if you let us know in advance.
For example:
If we see that youβre aware of the limit and your playlist is close to it, weβll happily evaluate it.
As long as it's technically possible to cut without sacrificing quality, weβll proceed.
π However, playlists that exceed the hard maximum (like 22:01 on a 12-inch) cannot be processed without editing or cutting.
π How to check your total time
- If you have audio files (MP3/WAV): Play the songs in your player and check the total time per side.
- If using streaming playlists:
- Use Spotify Web or Desktop to see minutes and seconds
- Mobile apps may only show full minutes
π‘ Tip: Keep at least 1 minute below the recommended time to account for hidden seconds.
π Example
A customer sends a 12-inch playlist that shows β20 minutesβ on mobile Spotify. The real time is 20:50. Thatβs slightly over β and if they let us know in advance, weβll try to make it work.
