π§Ύ In a few words
Some turntables are programmed to stop the record automatically once the needle reaches a certain distance from the center. But since our records use more of the disc surface, this can interrupt playback.
π Common symptoms:
- The record stops around the last 1β2 songs
- You hear a βclickβ or βliftβ sound from the tonearm
- The disc plays fine on other turntables
π Solution:
- Look for the Auto Stop switch or function on your turntable
- Turn Auto Stop OFF
- Restart the record β it should now play all the way to the end
